Business T1 Internet Service Highlights

The communication age is dominated by various telecommunication companies that have developed various services to meet the needs that individual and business people have in their day to day activities. In the USA and Japan the companies have come up with an innovative solution to these needs in the form of high speed services with the T1 service. These are however particular to these two countries while the other ones have lower quality services.

The services require very high speeds which are only available through the use of fiber optic cable. It is used for the transmission of both data and voice signals over a long distance. It is faster and immune to interference and noise. The traditional systems and services used a slower medium in the form of copper cable. It was in two varieties with the former being the coaxial cable that resembles the cables used with antennas of TV sets today. The other one was called unshielded twisted pair cable and until recently was the common type of medium used in Ethernet connections in offices and homes.

Fiber optical cable offers the highest speed for signals humanly possible since it travels at the blink of an eye. The voice needs to undergo a sampling algorithm which digitizes the voice message and a modulation algorithm called pulse code modulation for production of light signals that can then be used to propagate along the cable length. This is unlike the electrical signal that was generated by the mouthpieces of traditional telephone sets.

The media supports full duplex communication which means that any of the transceivers can function as both transmitters and receivers at the same time. This is essential especially for phone communications that need to go both ways. This makes it necessary for it to have two flow lines that transmit in either direction.

Internet modems that are using analog signals are slow because they have to convert their signals to digital form for transmission. The modems using the service on the other hand do not require this and are therefore faster. The requirement for conversions delays the usage of a user and how long it takes to load a single page.

The line can support many users on the same line depending on the kind of traffic that they generate. Voice traffic can couple more than a thousand users on the same one while high speed internet connections only support a few of them. This is because it requires more bandwidth.

Companies that supply these services to people have very high charges for their products but the increased efficiency makes up for this.

The most suitable applications for these are in high end communication systems that require fast connections which include video servers and cable TV companies. The quality of video is highly dependent on the speed of the connection.

Others that generate high traffics need these connections to meet their needs. They include internet service providers and domain name system resolution servers that provide useful and crucial services to their subscribers.
